Pregnancy and Newborn's.

I have a particular interest in using osteopathy to treat women throughout their pregnancy and beyond as well treating newborns, infants and toddlers. I fund this a very rewarding area to work in and I love seeing bumps turning into babies and those babies into toddlers.

I was first introduced to using osteopathy for expectant mums and infants during my degree, and I took my first post grad course in this area in 2004 and I haven't looked back since. I have found that since having my own son in 2011, my empathy towards parents and the infants I treat has changed. I can now see things from the parents perspective!

In 2013 I qualified as a BfN (breastfeeding network) peer support helper.

Osteopathy can be used throughout your pregnancy. By helping to support your constantly changing shape, Osteopathy can help to prevent or alleviate many of the aches and pains associated with pregnancy. As well as encouraging your baby into the most optimal position for birth.

Osteopathy is suitable for infants from birth. It can help infants who have been through a traumatic birth experience or infants with latching difficulties
