Treatment and Fees.

What happens when I visit an Osteopath?

At your first Osteopathic appointment your full case history will be taken. This will include questions about your problem, as well as about your general health and wellbeing. You will then be asked to undress down to your underwear and perform a series of simple movements. These are used to help assess any areas of weakness or strain. Sometimes it may become necessary to refer you to your doctor or consultant for additional investigations such as X-rays or blood tests.

For infants it can be helpful to bring a couple of photographs that show any bruising or moulding from birth.

All children and infants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the entire treatment.
